As we expand our offering at Walker Morris, we’re excited to announce a new opportunity for an Innovation Coordinator. In this role, you’ll provide direct support to our Innovation Lead, helping to embed innovation into the firm’s culture and streamline client service. You’ll play a key role in facilitating new ideas across all levels within our lawyer and business services teams working closely with our network of Innovation Champions.
You’ll work closely with our Innovation and Legal Tech Delivery team, IT Training team, Applications team, and Knowledge team, gaining exposure to cutting-edge projects and building strong relationships across the business. This client-facing role also offers opportunities to network and build relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.

As the Innovation Coordinator, your role will include:
- Support the Innovation Lead with tech-enabled client work, including preparing for client conversations, presentations, and workshops, and work on customised solutions.
- Assist with internal innovation initiatives, working alongside Innovation Champions to run workshops and promote new ideas across the firm.
- Play a key role in structuring our LegalTech toolkit, ensuring we maximise ROI and stay ahead of new features—particularly in the generative AI space.
- Provide day-to-day support across our LegalTech tools and help coordinate our AI Working Group, gathering use cases and exploring future opportunities.
- Keep a close eye on market trends, attend key events, and regularly present insights and findings to the team.
We are looking for:
- A genuine interest in legal innovation, technology, and process improvement.
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services role with a tech focus is preferred.
- Proven ability to manage workload effectively, prioritise tasks, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstratable experience communicating clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with colleagues and clients.
- Confidence to contribute ideas and help shape new ways of working.
- A confident user of the Microsoft 365 suite together with experience of or a genuine desire to learn about a wide range of legal tech and AI tools.
- Demonstrable experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to manage documents, create spreadsheets, and produce engaging content.
Some of our benefits include:
- £27,000 - £29,000 per annum, depending on experience.
- Earn up to 10% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.
- Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year increasing to 31 days with length of service, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday per year.
- Auto enrolled into the workplace pension scheme, and we'll contribute a minimum of 6% of your salary.
- 4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.
- Hybrid and flexible working for most roles with a minimum of 40% of your time spent in the office.
