Overview

Are you a qualified accountant with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for driving financial excellence? We’re looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to lead a high-performing team and deliver strategic insights to help drive performance.

You’ll be at the heart of our financial decision-making, producing high-impact reports, managing key stakeholder relationships, and ensuring robust financial controls. With two Management Accountants reporting to you, you’ll foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across Operational and Commercial Finance teams.

 

As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will:

  • Deliver monthly Board MI packs and departmental KPIs that inform strategic decisions.
  • Lead detailed performance analysis, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
  • Own quarterly performance reporting for senior leadership, including the CFO and Managing Partner.
  • Act as the key contact for external audits and managing Partner remuneration.
  • Support solicitor promotions and Partner lateral hire business cases.
  • Enhance cash flow modelling and risk analysis to safeguard long-term financial stability.
  • Manage key aspects of team member development and take ownership of team success.

We are looking for:

  • A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with exceptional Excel skills and an analytical mind.
  • A minimum of 2 years' post-qualification experience (PQE).
  • A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to influence strategic outcomes.
  • Experience in team management, mentoring and developing others.

Some of our benefits include:

  • Salary reflective of your experience, est. £60,000 - £65,000
  • Earn up to 10% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.
  • Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year increasing to 31 days with length of service, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday per year.
  • Auto enrolled into the workplace pension scheme, and we'll contribute a minimum of 6% of your salary. 
  • 4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.
  • Hybrid and flexible working with 40-60% of your time spent in the office.
