Overview

Walker Morris' Residential Development team is looking to recruit an ambitious and well-versed lawyer. This would suit someone looking to join an established and successful team, working for a wide variety of stakeholders in the residential developments sector - national and regional housebuilders, landowners, land promoters, funders and registered providers.

The team works with most of the UK's major housebuilders and some nationally renowned land promoters, on development sites across England & Wales. 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate with solid experience in development work, to join a growing team.

We are looking for:

  • We are looking for someone 4+ years PQE.
  • Ideally, a Senior Associate at present, or looking to make the move to this level.
  • Experience within Residential Development transactions, acting for major UK housebuilders.

Some of our benefits include:

  • Salary reflective of your experience, competitive in the market.
  • Earn up to 35% of your salary with our annual bonus scheme.
  • Paid sabbatical leave - accrue up to 2 weeks’ sabbatical over a 2-year period, or 4 weeks’ sabbatical over 3 years.
  • Minimum of 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays per year increasing to 31 days with length of service, with the opportunity to buy/sell up to 5 days holiday per year.
  • Auto enrolled into the workplace pension scheme, and we'll contribute a minimum of 5% (7% Directors) of your salary. 
  • 4x your annual salary in the event of a death in service.
  • Hybrid and flexible working for most roles with 40-60% of your time spent in the office. Please speak to the recruitment team to discuss your flexible working preferences.
  • Access to BUPA with no excess or compulsory payments.
